Calories in Whisky
Distilled from grain, calories in whiskey (spelt whisky in Scotland) are middle of the road for this traditional Irish or Scottish alcoholic drink. The name derives from the Gaelic for "water of life", and it is believed that, drunk in moderation, calories in whiskey are higher than those in wine but with the same health benefits, and can increase longevity.
Having knowledge of food & calorie counting, exercise and a balanced diet can assist in healthy eating and weight loss.
