Calories in Lentils
All varieties of lentils are extremely nutritious. As well as having a good amount of calories in lentils, they are also high in protein and provide an excellent source of fibre. Lentils are often used as a meat substitute by many vegetarians. Those following a low fat diet will be pleased to know that they contain absolutely no fat whatsoever.
