Calories in Red Wine
Drinking the calories of red wine may be something to watch as part of healthy eating, it has also recently been cited as a way to prevent cancer, heart disease, and other conditions. It contains natural antioxidants dissolved from the grape skins during fermentation. Because the skins are removed from white grapes, white varieties of the drink contains fewer antioxidants though there are less calories in red wine.
